This past weekend, I transitioned from Miami (the Magic City) to just outside of Baltimore (the Charm City). The talent here has already captivated me which I was beyond grateful for, since the weather (overcast, gray skies and misty rain) did not welcome me upon arrival. Needless to say, I was happy to get out of the house on Sunday, October 2nd and start to explore. The day before, I found note of the Madonnari Arts Festival in a magazine my mom happened to have sitting on a table. So I decided it would be a good first step to getting to know my new, old home (another story for another time).
And here are some of the artists and their creations:
Anthony Cappetto and Wendy Stum
Andrea Starinieri
Tomoteru “ToMo” Salto
Daniel Heifetz
Holland Winslow – The Movement of Change “The Empty Nest”
I’m really excited about finding and getting involved with the art scene here. I felt a true sense of calm when I walked into the festival; watching artists work and being immersed in their creative energy/spirits is very refreshing for me. Now, to find more…
